Puppy Classes in Salisbury, Wilts, is bought to you by our International award winning dog behaviourist Jenni Molland. She is now teaching the foundations in a group setting for new puppies and their families.
Maximum of 7 pups to any course
Our puppy classes in Salisbury Wiltshire are suitable for pups age 8-20 weeks from the first week of the course.
Puppies can attend just one week after their first vaccinations, as we use a pet disinfectant on the floor before the sessions. It is recommended that handlers carry the puppies from the car to the hall.
Our next puppy class in Salisbury commences on Wednesday 2nd October at 18.45-19.45 and 20.00-21.00. Puppy school takes place at Britford Community hall, Salisbury, SP5 4DS. The course will run over 4 consecutive weeks. We cannot refund or offer a further place on the next course if you are unable to make a week.
During Puppy classes both puppies and owners will learn fundamental skills using positive reinforcement methods. Being taught by a professional dog behaviourist, with more than 26 years experience working with people and dogs.
You and your puppies will learn in a fun, friendly and socialable environment. Covering the following topics…..
- Teething and biting
- Toilet training
- Chewing
- Jumping up
- Body handling, teeth and ear cleaning, nail cutting , coat brushing
- Learn the basic commands – Wait -stay – leave etc
- Recall practice
- Lead walking
- Engagement training
- Learn how to safely and calmly interact with other dogs and how to deal with things when they go wrong
- Correct socialisation methods
- Avoid anxiety problems
- Lots of other advice
We do not encourage over socialisation of your puppies witin this group. The focus is always about teaching your individual puppy in close proximity to others. Learning how to control the impulse to want to play and interact with other puppies is our top priority.

We just completed our puppy school and can’t thank Jenni enough for starting us off on the right track with our Daisy. Her support and advice throughout the last 4 weeks has been amazing. Once the course is complete you will get your certificate and rosette to show you have completed the perfect puppy school.
Puppy School FAQ’s
Do we have to pay in advance for puppy school?
To book your place on the next course we will require the full payment of £135 upfront. This is non refundable, although we may consider a refund under exceptional circumstances.
What is your service area?
We are based in Britford Village hall, south of Salisbury, SP5 4DS.
Is this is safe environment?
Yes we disinfect our floors with a pet friendly product. This allows you to bring your puppy one week after their first vaccination.
What if I don't enjoy the classes
There is always a chance after you book your place that the school is not for you. However we do everything we can to make perfect puppy school as enjoyable and inclusive as we can.
